Appleyard & Trew was established in 1969 as a Partnership of Quantity Surveyors.

In 2009 the Practice celebrated 40 years in the Construction Industry, current Partners and Staff continue the traditions and values of the founding Partners providing customer focussed services and solutions.

The practice is medium sized within the industry, giving us the flexibility to provide attention to detail on smaller projects whilst at the same time providing the resources to complete large and complex projects throughout the United Kingdom.

Whilst originally established as traditional Quantity Surveyors additional core services now include:-

•  Project Management   •  Employer’s Agent   •  Building Surveying   •  CDM-C   •  Fund Monitoring

These services can be provided as stand alone disciplines or a combined one-stop service by qualified staff operating out of 4 UK offices (Manchester, London, Nottingham and Harrogate).

The practice is owned by its Partners; we have no external shareholders to answer to and therefore avoid the pressures that this sometimes creates.

A significant volume of our workload is obtained through repeat commissions and personal recommendation.
