CDM CO-ORDINATORS
All CDM Co-ordinators within the Practice are full-time qualified Health & Safety professionals and have the knowledge, experience and the necessary resources to ensure a successful service delivery to all our Clients irrespective of the size or complexity of the project.
Our internal audit and pragmatic working procedures are based on the highest industry standards and serve as a focus for the continuing development of best practice information.
CDM Co-ordinator services include:-
- Ensuring that the Health & Safety Executive is notified of the project.
- Providing advice to our Client when requested, on the competency of designers and contractors.
- Ensuring designers’ compliance with the CDM Regulations.
- Ensuring that the pre-tender Health & Safety Plan is prepared before arrangements are made for construction.
- Providing advice to our Client, as to the suitability of the principal contractor’s Health & Safety Plan for the construction works.
- Maintaining close relationships on site with contractors site personnel.
- Ensuring that a Health & Safety File relating to the project is prepared and delivered to our Client.
- Maintaining audit trails for each project.
- Interfacing with designers and design teams to ensure best value solutions are achieved within the Regulations.
- Informing Clients of new construction related Health & Safety legislation.
- Providing formal Health & Safety site inspections.
